You betcha ... at the University of Oregon's Proud ! & Loud !! Mighty Autzen Stadium ( Built in '67 ! ) ... where - if you didn't already know ... " It Never Rains !!! ". Yes !! This Absolute ! American-( Oregon !! )-Beauty !!! of a G.D. Pass was designed by Tony Reonegro - and features a - ahhh ... well ?? Take a look at the photos for yourself ... & You ! tell Me !! As far as I'm concerned - this is possibly the Most-Hilarious ! Tony Reonegro designed G.D. Backstage Pass of All-Time ! ... and this one is even for Mighty Autzen !! I mean this one even has a little bit of ' Comical ' Psycho ! in it ... as in Psycho the Movie ! - by Hitchcock ! - with Janet Lee !! But, this one might even be More-Classic ! than Psycho itself - because the image ... or, should I say ' Vision ' on this Pass actually was indeed a Reality ! at Mighty Autzen !! - ( aka. " The New House ! " - built by " The Ducks !!! " ). Because ... due-to the Heat ! - there were actually " Outdoor Showers " set up right at the top of the Sections 16 & 26 on the far end of the Stadium - away from the Stage ! And ... as the Shows went on - there were things going on up there that actually " did ! " resemble the design on this here Pass !!! - Ha !! ... & that's No-Joke at All ! - as Yours Truly Saw-It !! Well wait though ... did I actually see any Dancing Bears !?- can't remember ( I mean ... Imagine-That ! ). Well, but I do know that I saw quite-a-few ( ' Tons ! ' ) of Lovely Deadhead Ladies ! - but, huh ... was there a Dancin' Bear ? I mean my fellow Dead-Fans ... " Was He Ever There At All ?? " - Hah ! In other words ... ' was ' the Dude ! from the Oakland Coliseum !! there ? - or not ?! Remember him !?? - with the Swirlin' & Twirlin' Lights !?!! ... the " Dancin' Bear Guy ! ". Just in ' Spirit ' maybe ? ... I really can't remember ? There sur were Deadheads Dancin' Bear ! in the Autzen make-shift Showers !! though - and That ! is For-Sure !! All indeed a tell-tale on just how " Incredibly-Grate !!! " This-Run of " Duck U. ! " Shows really-was !! The Band's Final Hurrah !!! ' with ' Eugene ! This my Friends was just 3-Glorious-Days ! of Fun-Shine !! and Good Ol' Grateful Dead !!! As ... this 6/18/94 Show here was indeed the China > Rider Show !!! Just awesome ... Days Between > One More Saturday Night ! to close it up too ! ... and maybe most-appropriate for Eugene - in plenty more ways than one ! ... an " I Fought The Law " Encore !!! Ahhh, yesssss. The Grateful Dead's 2nd " Triumphant " Return ! in 1994 to play the University of Oregon's Mighty Autzen Stadium !! in Eugene !!! This was only the 2nd run of Shows that the Grateful Dead played at the U of O ( or anywhere in Oregon ! ) since the 1990 Summer Tour - with '93 being the 1st. See, the thing was ... they were faced with a temporary " ban " by the U of O for troubles with fan behavior, etc. - until Jerry Garcia himself took care of it all-on-his-own ! - ( " Literally !! " ) ... and by pure-coincidence too !!! And as the " 100% True ! & Factual !! Story goes ... Jerry-Himself ! ran into Dan Williams ( U. of O President ! ( at the time ) ) in Hawaii ! where Dan was also vacationing - as was Garcia ... doing some Scuba-Diving !! Dan's Wife saw-him ( Jerry ! ) - and thought it would be cool for Dan to introduce himself - and ask for a photo with Jerry. Jerry obliged ( naturally ... ) - But ! with one small little ' stipulation ' ... " Why don't you let us come back to play in Eugene - because we really love playing there ?! " - Go Jerry !! -- Garcia-Magic !!! And ... well Folks, that was indeed all she wrote - as 8/21/93 & 8/22/93 ... and then 6/17/94 - 6/18/94 & 6/19/94 became a " True-Reality ! ". President Dan ' Caved ! ' - the ( Real ) King of Rock & Roll ! ( Jerry !! ( obviously ... ) ) was " Triumphant !! " - and the rest was all " G.D. / Duck U. History !!! " ...
