This listing is for a vintage H. Couf "Special" model alto saxophone mouthpiece. The "Special" is a good quality step up level mouthpiece. It is made of plastic. This one has a 3* facing. The actual tip opening is .072". For reference, that is roughly equal to a Meyer #5. As far as the internals, the inner side walls are flat, forming a somewhat "A" shaped chamber. This mouthpiece is in good used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. It does have some shallow tooth indentations on the beak. I don't think it is anything that requires filling though. If you use a mouthpiece cushion on the beak you are very unlikely to notice the wear. There are some light scratches/scuffs on the exterior.
