Description: This is a beautiful Yixing clay teapot. It has a makers mark on both the inside lid and on the bottom. I have been told the bottom mark translates to "潘美娟制 - Made by Pan Meijuan" who is a Female Potter. It measures about 3.5” tall by about 5.75” long from spout to handle. I believe it is handmade because the inside has scrapes, which usually signifies a handmade piece. I don’t see any major chips or cracks, there may be some small scuffs/ rough spots/ very minor chips that I have missed. The clay itself has scratches, marks, dings and discoloration (I am not sure how many of these are a result of how/ when it was made). I included a couple photos of these flaws as well, although not all flaws will be mentioned or shown. The color of the clay may appear a bit differently in person than in the photos. Please message me with any questions. The only other one I have seen by this maker sold for $500 but on a different site.
