Description: This clip securely connects a 10 hole harmonica to a Shure SM57 microphone for simple, hands-free playing. Traditionally, guitar players and keyboard players that incorporate harmonica playing in their performances have used a neck holder, but many find them to be cumbersome, especially if they sing as well. This holder can accommodate almost any brand of 10 hole diatonic harp: Hohner Blues, Marine Band, Special 20, Lee Oskar, Suzuki and many other similarly shaped harps. Even Golden Melody harps fit. Another advantage of this clip is that it completely encompasses the mic, giving the harp a more intense, "cupped" tone that is preferred by many. It also lets the player change harps in seconds. The harps simply slide in and out from either side. They're small, unobtrusive, and have no moving parts or screws that can get lost. They're 3D printed (PETG) and are extremely durable. The clip is specifically designed to be used with a Shure SM57 microphone (or a Shure 545SD-LC, which has a switch). It will NOT work with a Shure SM58, or any other microphone. To attach the holder, you simply drop the mic in from the top (see pictures), and push the mic down until the screen is just below the top. Then, slide your harp in from either side until it's centered. Position the mic on a stand where it's easy to get to, and that's it. (The performer demonstrating in the video is Minneapolis singer/songwriter George Faber.) Shipping is a flat $7.00, and $.50 is added for each addition holder in the same order. Harmonicas, microphones, mic stands, or mic cords are not included.
