Description: This elegant cotton 1890's windowpane / 9-patch quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with deep red, burgundy and black prints.It measures 68" X 82" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of age spots and no wear. There are straight line and rainbow designs quilted throughout at 7 stitches to the inch. The back is a nice homespun fabric, the hand stitched binding is folded over from the front, and the batting is thin. The pics just don't do justice to this late 19th century beauty in great condition -- it's much nicer in real life!
