Quick Guide to Growing a Healthy Plumeria First, don't be surprised if most leaves and soil are gone. The USDA requires us to do this for certification. It also helps the plant deal with the stress of transport and transplantation. For Potted Plumeria Purchase Only: If you purchased a potted/rooted plumeria. *Do not repot for 6 months to a year at least. Have the plant acclimate to your weather. it is best to give it a half drink once you received and have it placed straight outdoor where it will receive 6-8 direct sunlight daily. Water the plant again after a week . Give it a drink once a week until it’s acclimated to your weather . if you live in a colder place , a week and half should be okay for watering schedule. For tropical areas, full water once a week should be okay or twice if it is too hot. For Frangipani/Cuttings Only: It's best to plant your plumeria quickly. Although it can survive for weeks during delivery, the sooner it's in soil, the quicker it will recover. Here are six important steps to follow upon receiving your plumeria: 1. Inspect your package and snap photos if it's damaged. 2. Next, open your package and check the plumeria for any harm, taking pictures if necessary. 3. If your plumeria is damaged, let us know right away and include the photos of the damaged box and plant. 4. Don't forget to provide your name and order number when sending message 5.
