Description: Icom Amplifier relay cable WITH ALC control line that works with the IC-7300, as well as other Icom's that have a 13 pin jack. Provides TOTAL isolation between your radio and amplifier high voltage keying circuit. There is an actual miniature relay inside that will switch up to 200V @ 1.5A. The cable measures 6' long, has 100% shielding and terminates into a standard male RCA plug as does the ALC line. FYI - Color coding I use is RED for relay and WHITE for ALC. A word about ALC: ALC (Automatic Level Control) is basically a throwback to the TUBE rig days when folks were unable to reduce the drive level to amplifiers. With today's modern day rig's ALC is rarely, if ever needed UNLESS your rigs maximum output exceeds your amplifiers drive limits. And even then most all rigs these days have an RF level adjust so you can cut back on the drive. ALC is likely to cause you more frustration than good. All of my amp cables are available without ALC if you look in my store. BUYERS BEWARE: Another seller has STOLEN and altered some of my original amp relay cable images & is using them as his own. You can tell they are altered as they are pixelated where he has cut and pasted different sections of them. He is a photo thief & phony and you will not get what he has pictured. Folks, please be advised that we ship on Tuesdays and Fridays with a cutoff time of 12 noon. Folks I feel it necessary to let you all new that doing business of any kind on "QTH.COM" is ill advised. I have just been ripped off for $85 on a WANTED TO BUY ad I posted. Your all better better off here in eBay because all buyers have a recourse!
