Description: 1930s / 1940s Antique Royal Winton GRIMWADES early version "Libya" Coffee or Tea Serving Set for 2 -- 8 Pieces You are bidding on a RARE and beautiful antique Royal Winton tea / coffee / dessert serving set. The name of the set is "Libya" which features floral designs and ribbons in rose, green and gold, with beautiful light green banding. A very classy and refined set that looks absolutely gorgeous in a table setting for two. I am unsure of the year of manufacture of this set, but based on the marks it should be between c. 1934 - 1950. The markings on these pieces are very striking and clear. Condition is as seen in the photos. Each piece is beautiful, bright and clean with no major chips or staining. There is some normal handling / shelf wear. There is crazing on the glaze finish on all of the pieces, to various degrees. Because of this, it may not be recommended to eat / drink from this antique china but this would make for a beautiful display set, or you could upcycle the pieces to make gorgeous handmade crafts, jewelry dishes etc. This lot is for one (1) set of eight (8) pieces as shown.
