Description: 1971 Indian Boy Racer Super Scrambler 50cc 4 speed. From Floyd Clymer Indian. Most likely this is the rarest and most original Indian dirt/mini-cycle left in existence. This was Indian's first and most high performance racing mini-cycle ever made. Extremely rare and all original and runs like new. Fast and a blast to ride! I have owned many mini-bikes and mini-cycles over the years and none have got more attention than this one at the shows. There is for sure something magical about Indians. Everything is original including the decals. A few very minor paint touch ups but a super clean original. 50cc Minarelli 4 speed with Dellorto 20 carb with chrome air horn and expansion chamber. Has a great sound! Seat is original and excellent as are all plastics. Grips are mint original. Tires have some weathering from age but still decent. You will look a very long time to find another in any condition let alone a nice original. I have only seen 10 of these in the last 20 years. Half those were junk. This is the best unrestored one I have ever seen. Cash on pickup only. Ads are from the net. Black and white ad is not the race model. Color ad is. Ads are for reference only. Please note there is some chrome polish that's splattered on the rims that I missed. Chrome is actually quite nice. Thanks. This link to this bike sold at Mecum was rough restored and the seat was a mess with incorrect carb air horn set up. Year was also wrong as they only made them for one year in 1971. https://www.classic.com/veh/1972-indian-super-scrambler-boy-racer-29082-4rNZ2M4/
