Large Agate Pair* with Yellow Fortification, Grayish Blue and Orangish Banding around calcite or aragonite. *Pair does not mean two perfect halves. Pair means 2 pieces from the same agate. The 2 pieces together, might not form the complete agate. The saw can remove up to a 1/4" or more of the agate. Sometimes a slab of a specimen is kept as payment for cutting. SHIPPING - Given the vast differences in sizes and weights there is no easy way to offer automatic shipping discounts when ordering multiple agates. Or, you can message prior to any purchase(s) and we will work out a combined shipping arrangement to save you money. Orders will generally be shipped out the next day if ordered M-F. Saturday orders may be shipped out the following Monday. MEASUREMENTS - One piece of the Agate weighs approximately 4 lbs. 8.8 ounces. It is approx. 6" long by 5.5" wide by 2" thick. The other piece of the Agate weighs approximately 1 lb. 13.4 ounces. It is approx. 6" long by 5" wide by 1" thick. PICTURES and ROUGH CONDITION - The Agate is unpolished and photographed with mineral oil. Agate will arrive dried out. It might need a light cleaning to remove dust or light dirt. Rubbing lightly with mineral oil will bring out colors and patterns for a short amount of time (days or weeks, just depending).
