Gourds are naturally grown, and no two gourds have the same shape and size. This fascinating and unique DOUBLE GOURD is large enough to have two EIGHT-METAL TINES keyboards set onto the gourd hard shell. It also has a base, allowing it to stand freely. As a player strikes a tine with their thumb, the vibration and the resonation inside the chamber can produce many deep and soothing tones. It is pre-owned, mostly displayed as a collector's piece, and in excellent condition overall. There are a few natural holes and spots as shown on the last 4 photos and slight discolor or fading appropriate for its age. The keys have numbers engraved on them and are dusty but not rusty--probably need to be polished. It is about 14.5" tall.
