The banknote is 138 x 70 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBL and four-leaf clovers. It also has a registration device in the form of a Basotho hat and a watermark that reflects King Moshoeshoe I in a top hat, an electrotype 50 capped with a Basotho hat, and Cornerstones. The paper bill bears the signature of Governor Moeketsi Senaoana. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been authenticated.
