Description: Little Lulu , cartoon character by Marge, doll made by Georgene Averill (Madame Hendren)Approximately 15 1/2 In.No manufacturer marks or tags.handwritten museum accession number on back.Yarn hair in front only, back is black clothinFace is pressed cloth, the rest of the doll is cloth.Painted eyes and mouth have some paint loss.Fabric loss to cheeks and tip of nose.Some stains on cloth body and face.Original red dress with white ric rac trim and white collar. Red ribbon to tie the collar is all gone but for a remnant.She also wears a blue striped smock with red mitten pockets that her hands fit well into. I don’t know if this is a mommy made piece or an additional factory piece.Overall good played with condition, not perfect but charming. Doll Stand is not included.
