The binding is tight; the front gutter is cracked but not separated, the rear gutter is tight and intact. The cover illustration clean and complete; there are no color plates in this volume as they had been phased out of the Oz series around 1935. Featuring light green cloth covers, and generously illustrated endpapers, it is clean throughout with no markings inside. Some slight foxing is apparent in the paper stock, as is typical. The cover measures 7” x 9.25”, the text block measures 9” x 6.4”, 312 pages. A lovely later copy in very good+ condition ready to join your collection.
