Description: Lot of 20 black & white photos of some kind of shows (USO?) put on for the servicemen during WWII in Panama. Most of them are ladies in costumes; there are a few photos in the background that have banners that read "Atlantic Rite". They were obtained when my Dad was there with the U.S. Navy in the early 1940's. I do not know if he took these, or got them as souvenirs. They don't look professionally taken. Eight of these are two-sided, with a photo glued onto either side of a black card. There are four additional photos that are loose. The ones on the cards are wavy (not flat), and some have some surface wear and bends, and you can see the glue on the cards. A couple of the cards are missing a corner. The four loose photos have bends and crackling. They are all fairly clear images. These may have been purchased while there as souvenirs. All but one are two-sided, glued onto black cards, with a photo on each side. The cards are 5-1/2" x 3-1/2", and the most of the photos are all about 4-1/2" x 2-1/2" (a few are 3-1/2" x 2-1/2"). The four loose photos are the size of the larger ones. Please note that your state's sales tax will be added to invoice. International buyers, please note that I will gladly mail to most anyone, worldwide. However, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before bidding or buying.
