It opened on February 18, 1998 near Universal Studios Hollywood but closed down soon after due to Planet Hollywood's financial problems. This collector's dinner plate is one of the themed dishes and dinner-ware the ill-fated restaurant featured. With the restaurant no longer in business, this plate has become a sought after collectible. Measuring 10-in. in Diameter, this dinner plate features Wolverine, the Hulk, Spider-Man, Rogue, Captain America, the Thing, Storm, and Iron Man. The artwork is by Jim Lee, John Byrne, Erik Larsen, and more! I've found out that these plates were available in the Marvel Mania store as well as used for the kid meals.
