Popy, 1975 60 cm DESCRIPTION This is a customization of a Second edition of the Mazinger Jumbo Machinder, manufactured by Popy in 1975, a subsidiary company of Bandai, which manufactured this type of toys for the Japanese market. This is not a Shogun Warriors, which is the line of toys that Mattel manufactured with notable differences for the international market and that outside Japan, are common in Jumbo Machinder collections. This is a 100% Japanese-made piece, the first edition of the first Jumbo Machinder to see the market, and the first model of this line inaugurated by Popy. Consider it as a piece of high interest for collectors. The paint job was inspired by a well-known mazinger toy manufactured in Venezuela. PRODUCT CONDITION. All parts of the robot are original. The robot has been completely repainted, including days black parts. Although the condition is very good, you can observe the following details: - there is a crack (repaired) on the front of the neck, under the chin. - There is a small tear on the edge of one of the legs. The head of the doll is made of vinyl, but the body is made of polyethylene. This plastic cannot be glued, so the above-mentioned leg detail could not be repaired. It is also not a plastic that can be painted, so this painting job required a lot of effort. It is important to remember and warn that due to this fact it is a figure that must be treated with special care and pampering.
