I quickly read both of his books and will listen to anything he puts out on youtube. That being said even if you are not into Dan or have never heard of him, this is an excellent book is on TV if you are interested in learning about meditation or are a beginner. He has a way of putting it in a very simple way that no one else has ever done so before for me and I'm kind of hooked on it now. Anyway I had a couple of copies of this this is my spare copy and I'm posting it for sale and hoping it gets into the hands of somebody who is like me and a little bit skeptical but I'm now sold. The book is in great condition with only minor shelf wear, see the photos for the details, the book pictured in the photos is the exact one that you will receive, no stock photos here! Zoom in for the details check out the condition and please message me if you have any questions at all, I'm happy to help. Also of note, this is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment. Shipping is USA only and this will be shipped via USPS Media Mail. Besides based on the total weight, the actual cost of shipping is also based on distance from me here in NY and is automatically calculated when you are logged into your eBay account. The postage rate/amount is set by USPS, UPS, FedEx etc. I take very good care in shipping the few items I sell safely and quickly, and I take pride in providing excellent service, as I'm mainly a buyer here who buys random stuff (sometimes too) impulsively on eBay and I know what it's like to have a seller that doesn't pack something well, or doesn't communicate, or waits a week or more to ship something you've purchased. So I try to give the excellent communication and service that I like to receive as a buyer. And while this isn't a job for me, and I don't sell a ton of items, I do take it very seriously and will make sure your item has lots of photos, is described very truthfully and accurately, is packed well, and shipped fast and safely. I'm happy to add signature confirmation, or any other service (at your cost, in most cases) if you have any problems with package delivery at your home or apartment. Please contact me ahead of time when possible, I'll get a cost for it and I'll be happy to set that up for you. Lastly, I'm pretty open to offers, so if it's an option, send one! Or, put it on your watched items list and I'll send you an offer. ______ THE NEW YORK TIMESBESTSELLER FROM THE AUTHOR OF10% HAPPIER Too busy to meditate? Cant turn off your brain? Curious about mindfulness but more comfortable in the gym? This book is for you. Youll also get access to guided audio meditations on the 10% Happier app, to jumpstart your practice from day one. What exactly is meditation? ABC News anchor Dan Harris used to think that meditation was for people who collect crystals, play Ultimate Frisbee, and use the word namaste without irony. After he had a panic attack on live television, he went on a strange and circuitous journey that ultimately led him to become one of meditations most vocal public proponents. Harris found that meditation madehim more focused and less yanked around by his emotions. According to his wife, it alsomadehim less annoying. Science suggests that the practice can lower your blood pressure, mitigate depression and anxiety, and literally rewire key parts of the brain. So whats holding you back? InMeditation for Fidgety Skeptics,Harris and Jeff Warren, a masterful teacher and Meditation MacGyver, embark on a gonzo cross-country quest to tackle the myths, misconceptions, and self-deceptions that keep people from meditating. It is filled with game-changing and deeply practical meditation instructionsall of which are also available (for free) on the10% Happierapp. This book is a trip worth taking.
