Description: Vietnam War Zippo - ORIGINAL 1970 VINTAGE VIETNAM WAR ZIPPO. Serviceman’s issue. Condition is Used. Front of Zippo is stamped with - VIETNAM 70 - 71 CU CHI Then an engraved image of - Mickey Mouse Playing Golf ——— The Back of the lighter is stamped with - PLEASE ! DON’T TELL ME ABOUT VIETNAM BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN THERE ——— The front and back have spots that are scratched back to brass colour. This is an original engraved Vietnam Zippo lighter from 1960’s - 1975 Vietnam war era. The zippo doesn’t have its original insert but a brand new one which has never been used and is in working order. The lighter case is in a used condition with some signs of wear. The insert is brand new so it clicks upon opening like the trade mark Zippo it is and as it should. The reason for this is that now used lighters often they cannot be sent in the mail. I can send the lighter with the original insert inside Australia but international post the original insert has to be disassembled and it sometimes is still returned as they deem it as dangerous as it has been used so I send with a new unused insert. Overall a very rare and collectible original Vietnam zippo with lots of historical and social significance. Any questions feel free to message me. Please check out my other items.
