Description: Mid Century Marcel Breuer Cesca armchair by Stendig. Appears to be AUTHENTIC. Chair still has "made in Italy" tag, as well as tags from the manufacturer (Stendig). The back of the chair is cane, with a green leather seat. We were given this chair some years ago in exchange for some work we did, so we don't have the full history, although the original owners had a lot of quality mid-century modern furniture (some of which we sold to higher-end buyers over the years). There are a few tiny holes in the leather (almost like they were made with a thumbtack). There is also a small scratch on the left-hand side arm. I took close-up photos, which are attached. We have not cleaned the chair (other than to wipe down the leather). But otherwise, the chair appears to be in very good condition for its age.
