PATENT NOV. 30TH, 1858 FRUIT JAR NICELY WHITTLED Click images to enlarge Description Up for auction #1 is this beautiful AQUA MIDGET MASON'S CFJ CO PATENT NOV. 30TH, 1858 FRUIT JAR VERY NICELY WHITTLED LOTS OF CHARACTER GREAT BUBBLES LUGGED CFJ CO. LID. The jar on bottom is marked X.F. 409 the interesting part is there is a larger ghosted F 40 partly underneath the X.F. 409 See the last pic. Measures about 5 1/2" tall counting lid. Jar is in good condition no cracks and no major chips. Nice ground lip there is a few bubbles on lip one slightly open see pics. Jar is nicely whittled hard to show in pictures. The jar has lots of bubbles giving it great character a few of the bubbles are open on inside. Very minor cloudiness which might clean out.The lid is a CFJ Co. lid shows some wear has one small split on bottom edge , does have the markings around top and cfj logo in center of cap they are hard to see but are there, lid should clean up some. This jar is straight out of my collection display cabinet and it displays nicely and would make a great addition to your collection. See pics for condition. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding.
