Description: Modern MCM Studio Pottery Tall Brown Coffee Pot I don't know who made this rather wacky modern coffee pot, whose elongated shape and odd angles mark it as a product of the 1950s. It is sturdily potted out of a heavy buff body (looks like stoneware) with with a brown glaze. This coffee pot wasn't turned on a wheel, but slab-raised by hand, with vertical fluting on the angled body. No maker's mark. 1950s. The tall coffee pot is 13 3/4 inches tall by 8 inches wide from spout to handle. The coffee pot weighs 3 lbs 5 oz (shipping weight 6 lbs). Condition: Excellent, save for one very small chip on the top rim of the body, as shown in the last photo. Please see the detail photos. Domestic shipping is $7.95.
