Delighting with its patent folding mechanism, this cake stand will grace any afternoon gathering. Joints are stable. The top handle was not attached when I bought this. I have merely tacked it down with wood glue. I did it in this way to have it in a state where it can be properly secured by a professional. But, this does work. As demonstrated by my volunteer knickknacks.Overall amazing condition. This wonderful table is nearly 115 years old. Well made.
