Description: Cleaning out some equipment I accumulated when I was building up a secondary system. First idea was to build up an inexpensive secondary system, so I bought this integrated few years back as a "handy man special" with intention to rebuild/restore. Unit came in with left channel blown. It blew the fuse and fried out MOSFETS in the left channel. It came in acceptable cosmetics- some scratches and dings on the face plate, and a missing top cover. At the time idea was to cut out square piece of acrylic and drill few holes for ventilation. I weren't really care about the look since it was intended for the secondary system and I knew it to be an excellent power house amp. One of the binding posts was broken as well. Few years has pass, secondary system was built with different component, and this beast is still seating on the shelf. I have replaced binding post, but other than that I have done nothing. I no longer need it, and no longer have any intention to restore it, I simply don't see the reason, but it could be some one else's project. You can get one great and powerful integrated amplifier for a starter system. Please be aware, that if you don't know anything about electronic equipment, it is not recommended to attempt any works on this unit, but I am sure any qualified technician can restore it in no time. Unit works just fine as a preamp, and an excellent one at thgis. It has four RCA line level inputs, one Phono input for MM cartridge, one input for Home Theater bypass, Tape in and out, and one line level variable output which you can connect to power amp of your choice(this feature could be used for bi-amping your speakers under normal operation). Yunit doesn't come with remote, manual(PDF available on-line) or original box. It is for 120V operation and I will include a generic power cord.I will pack carefully for the transit.Once again, this unit for parts or repair/restoration ONLY, unless you intend to use it as a preamp. It is sold strictly AS IS with no returns accepted. As per MF manual it is rated as 200W per channel into 8OHm or 400W into 4OHm. On the attached short video you can see and hear it playing as a preamp thru Odyssey amplifier.
