Any grease or oils on your fingers will leave a smudge like on a stainless steel refrigerator, but if you try to remove it you only make it worse. I have a small few of these and the first one I handled "without gloves" I really messed up (especially the black top corner). This poster will ship flat and needs to stay relatively flat in order to maintain its Very good condition. This poster is 50+ years old and may have very slight imperfections on some of the corners, I just mention this because I am listing it as Very Good condition not mint or near mint.
