Description: A beautiful All hand stitched quilt with a pattern called Amish "Jacob's Ladder" design with rows of double hexagons and triangles at a 90 degree angle. The old fabrics still have a vibrate color. It is light-weight and haslittle batting inside. Great for summertime. The reverse is a sunshine yellow color. The only fading I noticed was a slight shade lighter near the corners of the yellow. The photos were taken on a double bed. I am not a quilt expert, I try to describe these quilts to the best of my ability. Sometimes I may overlook something, but for the most part I try to be as accurate as possible. When it comes to antique quilts I would have to say this is close to being excellent. We did find 5 small areas we need to mention. Look at photos 15-19 a couple small flecks of paint which probably come off with fingernail, three small stains, and a very small L-shaped rip on the underneath yellow side. We have not laundered it.There are no odors or holes of any kind. 72" wide x 88" long
