This is an autofocus SLR with Typical Nikon built quality, even though it's largely plastic it is heavy and sturdy. The camera works with manual or AF-S lenses and has a built-in flash. The camera uses 4 AA batteries, which are not included in this sale. It has 3 segment metering. The camera has a wealth of features with simplified user controls when compared to more expensive Nikon autofocus SLR cameras. This camera comes equipped with an original Nikon AF Nikkor 70-210 mm 1:4-5.6 G Lens and has its original Nikon shoulder strap. The lens is covered with a Promaster Spectrum 7 62mm UV Filter, which obviously protected the lens and kept it clean. The body of the camera with automatic flash. We did put batteries in the camera and tested it and it fired properly, the shutter appeared to work the way it is supposed to, and the film mechanism was advancing the way it should. However, we did not put a film in it and as such we did not fully test the camera and there for we are selling it as is. The camera is clean inside and out and the lens appears to be clean and free of fungal growth. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Late 1980s. The camera is no longer in production. Origin: Japan Size: Body of Camera is ~6" wide, ~4 1/4" at its highest, and is ~2 1/4" at its thickest, the lens is ~5 1/4" long when fully extended and is ~2 5/8" in diameter in the front. The body has some minor scratches, which can be seen in the photos, but these are nothing to worry about. The lens is intact, scratch free and is clean.
