Binding is tight. The front and back of the cover are glossy, with some light wear marks from storage. There is a little bruise on the lower left corner. Staples are clean, indicating it has not spent time in a moist environment. No musty smell. We bought a lot of manuals from a collector in the dry country of eastern Washington.
