Description: For sale, we have a extremely rare nice original near attic aqua 1/2 pint size GII- 138 Spread Eagle or Eagle in Flight Historical or Pictorial Whiskey flask. With our limited research we found that this is a super rare coloration for this flask and there maybe less then three known examples in existent. The embossing on this flask is pronounced, crisp and strong with no wear seen on the Eagle. The glass is crude with a pebbled look near the base. There are some small seed bubbles spread throughout the flask and some swirl lines in the front neck area. This example has a early unmarked smooth base. We date this flask to the 1870's Era. This flask has a nice crudely applied tooled small ring style lip with no issues. The height is approx. 6 1/8" The condition is nice with no chips, cracks, deep scratches or scuffs. There is some spotty lite area of wear on the back shoulder. We see a little glass seepage on the front edge of the base which is more felt then see. We also see just a few very lite scattered thin usage wear lines and the typical outer base wear. We pictured these areas, and they are seen when examined in strong light and mentioned for complete accuracy. This flask has not been dug or cleaned or altered. We will offer free shipping and insurance on this flask. Thank you so much for viewing our auctions and listings and any questions please ask. This would make a great addition to a early American Historical or Pictorial Flask collection. We like to note that we give free insurance on any item that requires it, and we never charge a handling fee. We guarantee your satisfaction with our items.
