Description: Large cotton flag of India, measuring 6 x 6 feet, in poor condition with staining and tearing, to include several of the center stripe seams which have come loose. This was from the Dr. Clarence Rungee collection and comes with an Inventory Sheet noting that he obtained it in 1958 and damage to the flag was caused by Riots. Possibly the frequent ones circa 1946 of the 1957 Ramnad Riots. The piece is vintage and therefore may show signs of age, wear, or patina.Terms: I do combine shipping on multiple items, within a week of each other (unless arranged otherwise in advance).
