Description: On offer, we have a pair of antique Vieux Paris porcelain vases. These are, possibly circa 1800. The white vases have a gloss finish and applied flowers decorated with gold gilt. Both are impressed on the bottoms "228 2" and have hand scratched "ID". These measure just under 6 1/2" tall, 5 1/4" wide across the tops and 3" deep at the tops. The pair weigh 2 pounds 6 ounces. We believe these would be in excellent condition for their age and possible use; but, one has a large chip on the top right edge. The gold paint is very worn and missing in places. I found no cracks, repairs or crazing in the glaze. There are some small black dots under the glaze. As I am not an expert, please view my photographs for more description.
