Side cover inlays are fat-stag, fastened three times, deeply rutted and burned to a deep dark brown w/the smooth areas left in a natural bone color, bright, shiny and flawless. This knife is listed as used because I got it from another dealer w/no packaging, it is otherwise like brand new w/only surface patina from handling.
