Today, Pawleys is known for it's happy-go-lucky, carefree days at the beach, crabbing in the creek, fishing, shells and of course, surfing! This beautiful quaint chapel sits on the marsh side of Pawleys Island. During the summer months, visiting ministers hold non-denominational services each Sunday from the first Sunday in June to the last Sunday in August at 10:00 am. The formal name of this church is the Pawleys Island House of Worship, commonly known as the Chapel. The small sanctuary has beautiful views and is a wonderful place to celebrate marriages, baptisms, and other special occasions. This is a nice postcard.
