Description: On offer, we have "Phantom Lady", an action packed gouache painting of this beautiful lady tied to a dock. There's a mysterious man sneaking up behind her and it appears to be blood in the water below. The back is signed "Phantom Lady by Ed Lane 8/83". Below, also in pencil is page 5 or 19. Phantom Lady has been around since the 1940's; but, research tells me this would have been made during the DC Comics All-Star Squadron time when Phantom Lady was a re-occurring guest star. The painting is on cardboard measuring 30" X 20". I believe this is in excellent condition. The painting is bright, bold and clear. There's a faint scratch in the sky. The back shows water damage and creases at the bottom, I don't see those on the front. Please view my photographs for more description. This is from my friend who collects everything and is moving to a smaller home. Now, he must part with some of his treasures. I will be happy to answer any questions and, of course, combine your shipping. This will be shipped flat.
