Description: Visit My eBay Store: House-O-Surplus Buy with confidence! we offer FREE 30 day domestic returns on most items. DESCRIPTION: Buyer will receive the exact Transferware “PERU” pattern soup plate shown in the photographs. Nothing else included or implied. This pattern is apparently not in the Transferware Collectors catalog. The border features a bull baiting or bull fighting scene while the center features Peruvian cowboys lassoing a pair of bulls. Unrecorded pattern named “PERU”. It is similar Similar to George Jones ( tcc#17870) and/or Charles Allerton (tcc 12891) “Toro” pattern, which features two bulls, one with lasso around neck and very similar border pattern to our PERU. See also "Peruvian Horse Hunt" #01 tcc 4723 by Anthony Shaw registered August 8, 1853. Signed by retailer F. Primavesi & Sons (1850-1915), Swansea, Newport, & London SIZE: 8.5” Diameter CONDITION REPORT: Used. It has a tight hairline possibly made in the manufacturing (see last two photographs). The glaze seems to flow around the edges of the hairline, so it was possibly like this out of the kiln. It is solid, it does not rattle when knocked upon with a knuckle. No chips, no excessive use-wear. It has glaze tight crazing throughout. As always due to age and prior usage, the item may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects. Please view all photos as they are part of this condition report. Ask questions prior to purchase.
