Description: Here is a Royal Copenhagen Art Nouveau Dish with Lizard and Dragonfly Number 783 / 325. It is a spectacular and rare piece of antique Art Nouveau porcelain. The dish has one lizard on the rim in high relief on one side, facing a dragonfly in low relief on the other side of the dish. There is a clover motif painted on the surface of the dish between the two creatures. It is a fantastic design and an incredibly delicate and fine piece of decorative art. Details like the long tail and feet of the lizard are sublime. The painting by the painter with initials "cox" is exemplary. The dish is factory first quality, made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1923-1934. The dish measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long by 4 inches wide. The dish is in excellent condition with no damages -- no chips cracks or repairs. There are some very minor, normal and discrete glaze irregularities from factory production on the glazed surface of the dish. Please examine the photos. I see no apparent issues or concerns. It is a rare, special piece that deserves its place in any collection! Please examine the photos and description and reach out with any questions! Carefully packaged in non-smoking, no pets household, and shipped with USPS.
