Description: This Offering is for One (1) Antique Rare Vintage 1946 Philco Model 46-350 Portable. Plugged in this radio does produce loud static. We don’t know anything about radio repair but you need to mention these facts:Upon adjusting the tuning knob, it does move but no station comes in at all.The dials that control the volume and the station tuning mechanism or not in the normal location but can be nudged into it from within the radio body.The strap/handle is missingThe wood accordion levelers (normally have the function to close the viewable window) need to be replaced (see Pic # )The screws to open the back function as intendedThe glass panel where the station identifiers are seems to be in good shape.We do not notice any missing tubes or the functionality of the tubes that are there.The fact that it turned on and there’s no issue with the wire that goes into the outlet is a plus.No batteries or mechanism to hold batteries was noted (must state the wire that we think connects to a battery is there)The two large details that can be viewed in Pic # 1 tars depressed in.So either this would have to be repaired by somebody who knows a lot more than we do, or used as a Radio to take parts out of for another Radio.Selling as is / for parts or Repair… Measurements:(All measurements are approximate) 10” Tall5 1/2” Depth12 1/2” Wide Please View all the Pics to see the condition for yourself.
