Description: Richard Brautigan, In Watermelon Sugar, Softcover Wraps, 1968, 2nd Printing, Four Seasons Foundation, City Light Books, San Francisco, California, 7.75 inches by 5.5 inches, 138 pages Softcover Book is in Good condition. Binding tight. Exterior wear to cover. Edge wear. Book is at least 50 years old. I read Trout Fishing in America 40 years ago at the recommendation of a friend. It was a unique voice and made me think of Tom Robbins book “Another Roadside Attraction”. It struck a chord with me, when in 1984, I heard he had died. It was a small mention in the paper. Years later I read an article by Montana painter Russell Chatham and he mentioned he was quite upset at Richard’s passing. Someone still missed him.
