In tan and gray Italian wool, lined with Bemberg rayon cupro. Three button front with the top button high, deeply split center back seam, overly long sleeves with contrasting lining meant to be rolled up. Fully lined, lightly padded shoulders for shape, not height or width. Three welt pockets with flaps, the pockets still basted shut and a high chest pocket. There’s also an inner pocket on the chest lining for the wearer to actually use. Button hole for that carnation on the left lapel.Jacket: 44” around the underarms, 37” around waist, 44” around at the last button. 34” long nape to hem with 16” center back split. 18” across the shoulders and sleeves are 25” long. Worn over high waist, single shallow pleat and welt pockets near the front side and in back, still basted shut. Tapering legs with cuffs, of course. Small holes on the right thigh near the side seam, the right rear next to the center leg crease, the right side front near the waist at the side seam. 30” around waist, 42” around widest part of the hips, 15” front and 17” rear rises, 30” inseam with 2” cuff folded up. 7” kick.
