Description: This two piece Sage 796 RPL fly fishing rod was my go to float tubing rod and is perfect if you want one rod that can handle bass or trout fishing. Everything is in great condition with the cork handle being the only part that really has evidence of use. After 50 years of flyfishing I have acquired a ridiculous number of fly rods and I have decided it is time to let some of them get fished by someone new. Priced below new entry-level rods and this was top of the line for Sage with these graphite III rods still in demand today. I am hoping this brings someone new to the sport as much enjoyment as it did me. It cast great, in fact it was the first rod I cast an entire fly line with.
