Description: This is a Selmer Paris Super Action 80 Series II tenor saxophone in outstanding condition. With gold lacquer finish, serial number 4452xx, which dates this SA80 II’s manufacture to 1990. The Series II is a coveted and cherished professional instrument in the saxophone community. It is loved by pros for its rich sonic qualities, super smooth action, and ease of playability, with wide open ability to shape the sound almost infinitely, and heavily recommended by teachers for its easy playability. The body of the saxophone is in beautiful condition. With very little lacquer wear showing, it has seen some honest play time over the years but has no history of major past repair or abuse. At this time it has a few small dings, which do not impact the sound or playability of the horn whatsoever, and this horn has never seen any notable dent work or solder repair. The body tube, bow, bow cap and bell are all in outstanding original condition. All of the key guards and guard feet are also in great shape. This saxophone does include the original neck in very good physical condition. It has 2 small dings, however it has never been pulled down. This tenor comes in its original Selmer flight case.
