Each zone can handle two pairs of eight ohm speakers at a rated output of 100/150 watts into 8/4 ohms respectively. Performance remains superb because of the continued use of discrete bi-polar transistors, big capacitors, hefty toroidal transformers, and large heatsinks. The rear panel has switches for bridging/summing and local/global input selection. Six selectable signal sensing switches, six low volt triggers and six pairs of large removable speaker connectors are included. The patent pendingLDS (Load Detection System)circuitry permits loudspeaker connections to be thoroughly tested before the amplifier can start to play music
