Description: This drum, based upon the badge and the interior "chocolate milk" interior, dates to late 1965, early 1966. Over all, it's in good shape, but has had a life. It has one extra hole drilled where a previous owner mounted a different tom mount (it's filled) and the original tom mount holes are capped with small bolts. Very easy to remove the bolts and install a rail mount. There are a two cracks in the drum wrap near the right spur (pictured) which were glued and they sit tight. There was a repair on the bearing edge near that area on the reso side, but it's smooth and does not affect tuning, especially with these vintage rounded bearing edges. The dark blue sparkle wrap (with a hint of purple) is in good shape but does have scuffs and scratches here and there, and I little tear on the top near the tom mount, but barely noticeable. There is a line crack on the inside, but only to the inner ply, but it's glued and tight. It sounds amazing, a big deep punch, and I used this drum on a Pink Floyd live tribute show, and it sounded amazing. The Remo powerstroke batter is like new, and the reso head is in good shape. It's priced accordingly, taking into account that shipping a box this size is also not cheap.
