This is a brand new blued steel strain screw for Smith & Wesson K, L, and N frame square-butt revolvers that use the flat-leaf type mainspring. Measures .605" OAL and .480" under the head. Fits models: K-22, K-38 (Army 38/200, 38S&W, Victory, & British), M&P, 1917, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 48, 57, 581, 586, and maybe more! I have the shorter round-butt screws listed in my other auctions as well. All parts sold must be checked, installed, and assembled by a qualified and competent gunsmith as some components may or may not require fitting depending on the tolerances allowed by the manufacturer, vintage, and potential re-manufacturer (if an aftermarket piece).
