Upgrades in Star Citizen are not a ship/vehicle but rather an item that allows one to transform a cheaper base ship to a more expensive ship. Your upgrade may come in multiple parts. The multiple parts may be in multiple emails, make sure to expand each email and click the link in each email to get all the upgrades in your order. Once in your account, navigate to the Hangar page of the RSI website and click the arrow on the right of the upgrade. Then click apply upgrade, click which ship you want to upgrade, and then click next. Then enter in your password and your upgrade will apply.
