Steinberger is famous for its headless structure and neck made of a synthetic material that mixes carbon and graphite, but it has actually been a subsidiary of Gibson since 1987, and then moved its factory to Nashville. After that, various things happened and it was not produced for a while, but after many years of silence, a new model was released in 2006, and currently only the Spirit of the Cost Performance series seems to be continuing to be produced.
