The story tells of a talented woman artist who goes in search of her missing father on a remote island in northern Quebec. This is an ex-library book. In very good condition, the binding is straight and tight. There are small marks to the front and back boards and shelf wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. The front end paper has been removed and there is a tear to the bottom corner of the following page. The rear end papers are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. There is a stamp to the rear of the front board and stamps, writing and pen marks to the publishers page. There is foxing to the top and fore edges. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in very good condition with a small tear to the edge of the front return, slight shelf wear to the top edge of the spine and two marks to the back cover. It is very rare to find this book with a dust jacket in such good condition, making it an impressive addition to a library or a wonderful gift. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
