Description: Offered here is a 1918 6th printing of the well-known guide to early airships, The Aeroplane Speaks, by H. Barber. The work is "Dedicated to the Subaltern Flying Officer" and is described on the title page as having a "Frontispiece, 36 Full Pages of "Types of Aeroplanes" and 87 Sketches and Diagrams". The work is indeed profusely illustrated and would be of great interest to anyone who wants to understand the planes that were used in WWI. The dimensions of the book are: height 10 inches; width 6 1/2 inches. This book is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Please read the condition description carefully and review the photographs. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period. I do my best to accurately describe the items being sold, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
