Description: This is a very good, clean copy of The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde with charming illustrations in full color by Lisbeth Zwerger. This is the 4th printing, circa 1990, Picture Book Studio edition. This is a pictorial hardcover with the original matching jacket. The jacket bears a gold medal from the Hans Christian Andersen Award Committee for Lifetime Achievement, which is issued every other year. Zwerger won hers in 1990. The book is clean and bright, binding is solid. It does have a black marker line on the top of the text block edge indicating that this was a remaindered book at some point.
