Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Available for sale is TRU-VUW 35mm filmstrip #1101: ASHEVILLE, issued by the TRU-VUE Company of Rock Island, Illinois in 1937. This filmstrip has fourteen (14) images showing Asheville’s downtown buildings, parks, country club, high school, etc. When viewed in a TRU-VUE viewer, these images will appear in 3-D. (For more information on TRU-VUE, see Stereo Views – An Illustrated History & Price Guide by John Waldsmith.) This filmstrip and its original box come from a non-smoking household. We carefully inspected this filmstrip, and it appears to be in very good condition: the opening leaders are intact with no tears, the sprocket holes are all in good condition, and the filmstrip itself does not appear to have seen much use. The original box is clean and unmarked and has all of its end flaps. It will be shipped via USPS 1st Class Mail with tracking. (Foreign customers, please use eBay’s Global Shipping Service.) According to John Waldsmith’s price guide, #1101 ASHEVILLE is one of the more desirable TRU-VUE subjects and typically sells for higher prices than the other subjects. This one has been priced to sell with free shipping. It will be of special interest to collectors of images showing Asheville as it appeared 86 years ago, and to TRU-VUE collectors. DON’T LET IT GET AWAY BECAUSE SOMEONE BOUGHT IT WHILE YOU WERE STILL THINKING ABOUT BUYING IT. Our seller’s rating speaks for itself so bid with confidence. Thanks for looking.
